Welcome to East Coast Admissions. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (www.eastcoastadmissions.com) and the purchase of our college admissions counseling packages and services. By accessing our site or purchasing a package, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Provided
East Coast Admissions offers comprehensive university application guidance and college counseling services. These services include, but are not limited to: academic planning, extracurricular guidance, essay support, interview preparation, and application strategy.
All services are delivered virtually unless otherwise noted.
2. No Guarantee of Admission
East Coast Admissions does not guarantee admission to any college or university, including East Coast colleges. Admissions decisions are made solely by the institutions, and our role is to guide and support students in presenting their strongest possible applications.
3. Enrollment & Contract
Purchasing a package on this website reserves your student’s place in our program. After purchase, you will receive a separate service agreement/contract that outlines the scope of services, expectations, and responsibilities. Enrollment is only complete once that contract is signed.
4. Payments & Refunds
All fees are due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise specified. Because we reserve limited spaces for each class year, fees are non-refundable once services begin. If a family withdraws prior to kickoff/onboarding, a partial refund may be considered at East Coast Admissions’ discretion. No refunds will be issued for unused sessions if the family discontinues participation mid-program.
5. Scheduling & Communication
Meetings are scheduled directly between the counselor and family. Rescheduling requires at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions without notice may be forfeited. Communication between sessions is primarily via email. Response times are typically within 24 business hours.
6. Student & Parent Responsibilities
Students are expected to actively participate and complete assigned tasks. Parents are expected to support the process but allow the student to take ownership of applications. East Coast Admissions is not responsible for missed deadlines if students fail to complete their responsibilities.
7. Privacy & Data Use
We respect your privacy. Personal information (including student academic records, essays, and contact details) is collected solely for the purpose of delivering services. Please see our [Privacy Policy] for full details.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, East Coast Admissions shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from: college admissions outcomes, third-party services (test prep, tutoring, etc.), or technical issues with online platforms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
